Each year the Sociological Practice section endeavors to share our
practices and insights with other sociologists through section sessions,
co-sponsored sessions, special sessions and a variety of workshops.
If you've ever wanted to organize a session or workshop, contact the

    2010 in Atlanta, GA

    Develop and submit a proposal for a session next year. Create a workshop. First deadline is December 1, 2008 but technically they are somewhat open until February 1, 2009 for workshops, regular sessions, and author-meets-critics. 2009 Meeting Page to see the ASA guidelines for submitting proposals. This is a great chance to say what you've always wanted to say and organize a way to meet people in your field.
